Greener home endorsement

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have developed a unique endorsement for home insurance policyholders that lets them opt to replace damaged property with environmentally friendly, non-toxic and energy-efficient alternatives—even if these options cost more to replace.

From paint and faucets to heating systems and damaged windows, items that are damaged as a result of an insured loss can be upgraded to environmentally responsible alternatives. With generous increased limits of up to $10,000, this low-cost endorsement can go a long way to helping the policyholder rebuild a much greener home.

The endorsement is available on most homeowners’ policy forms for as little as $10 per year.
